Hand-Painted Covered Cup with Saucer *THE WINTER TALE* - a real artwork !
The tea-maker of a rather exquisite form, hand-painted by the
masters of the famous Lomonosov Porcelain Manufacture, found by the Empress
Elisabeth in 1774 .
The design of the painting was created by Professor of arts Alexey VOROBYEVSKI,
one of the most famous Russian artists of porcelain painting, Peoples Artist of
the USSR. Has the mark of the manufacture and the sign of the artist on the
bottom. The prime quality. The cup is 5 inches high, 4
inches in diameter - 8.4 oz. The saucer is 6 inches in diameter. The
unique feature of the cup is a lid, that makes it possible to use the set for
brewing tea.
