Authentic Russian Plastic Model kit of the Russian icebreaker ARCTIC with nuclear power plant - 1:400 scale model.
Made in Russia by *Ogonuyock* Factory.
New, in the original box. 244 parts still on a tree. Glue (2 boxes) and instructions included (if you can read Russian :) A Must Have for a historian/collector of Authentic Russian Ships!!
"Arctic" Historical expedition to the North Pole is the famous one. It was the first case when ship have reached the North Pole.
The history of that voyage to the north pole is is as follows: August, 9 1977 20.05 p.m. Moscow time - departure from the Murmansk. August, 22 1977n 22.13 p.m. Moscow time - arrival to the Murmansk after successive North Pole visiting.
The length of the trip was 3876 miles, 1300 miles on the ice. The length of the model is like 15 inches.
