Original Old USSR Gzhel Porcelain Tiny Tea Pot.

Hand-made and hand-painted.
The size is 2 inch high with lid, 2.5 inch in diameter without handle.
Has the logo of the factory on the bottom. Good condition.
Gzhel is the name of the village 32 km from Moscow. This name is also applied to the beautiful artistic porcelain ware made there, painted with cobalt on a white background. The first written mention of Gzhel dates back to 1339, and from the 1770-80s, Gzhel had become the center of artistic majolica manufacture in Russia.
