Authentic Russian Khohloma hand - painted wooden Saltcellar BIRD.
In Russian tradition quaich is a symbol of hapiness in a house, and a bird is an ancient symbol of the sun .
Newly hand - made and hand - painted in the traditional folk style by masters of one of the oldest Russian paiting centers Khohloma.
Very bright, optimistic painting.
Measures approx: 7 inch long with handles, 2.8 inch in diameter, 1.1 inch high.
